Philips company unveiled the Fidelio FS1 speaker with multi-purpose use, LED lighting, Ambilight technology support and compact design.
During the IFA 2022 event, in addition to introducing its new products, including two OLED TVs, four soundbars, three pairs of headphones, Philips unveiled its new speaker named Fidelio FS1, which we will introduce below. As a member of the new Philips audio collection, including the recently introduced FB1 soundbar and FW1 subwoofer, the Philips Fidelio FS1 speaker has a homogeneous de
sign, similar materials, and easy installation.
Underneath the speaker’s compact premium casing is a 1-inch tweeter, a 2.5-inch angled driver on top, and a 3.5-inch subwoofer with two active radiators. Of course, this is not all the specifications of Fidelio FS1. The new Philips speaker is also based on the company’s Ambilight technology.
The Fidelio FS1 speaker can be used as a three-way speaker, as a single speaker or as a stereo pair. It can also be used as an AV receiver and automatically switch to two-way mode using the proprietary Dolby Atmos driver.
In addition, when this speaker is connected to TVs equipped with Philips Ambilight technology, it can be used as extended left and right audio channels to be used as a center channel, for accurate dialogue transmission and sound enhancement.
In the line of Fidelio FS1 speakers, Philips has also introduced four soundbars, including the high-end B8907 series. All four soundbars have high-powered outputs, a wireless subwoofer, and are wall-mountable, and are equipped with tweeters that will be added to the left and right channels. Philips’ top three soundbar models, the B8507, B8907 and B7807, include a dedicated center channel, Dolby Atmos compatibility and HDMI eARC connectivity in 4K resolution.
